The FilmPod is intended to be the central location from which you can access audience world-wide for your film, no matter where they are, no matter how they want to watch it. You will likely make more money on streams through the MRT-powered FilmPod app, but we see it as counter-productive to deny your audience the ability to watch your movie on their favorite platform. Therefore, your FilmPod allows you to link to any and every page where your movie is available.
No longer do you have to keep a list of different urls pointing to different platforms handy, so that you can answer "where can I see your movie?" Soon the question will be "what's your FilmPod?" With that one location, your audience will be able to choose which way to see your movie and find news about it - and you will still be able to market to them, interact with them, and track their activity.
In addition, over time there will be a growing number of platforms who will stream directly from the FilmPod app, in addition to their own.
