Firebird, a unique performance combining the legends of the phoenix and the firebird, written by Shadow Dragu-Mihai and directed by Diamond Monique Washington, starring David C. Hernandez as Isidor, the Magician, Ben Ubinas as Michael the Prince, and Fana Tesfagiorgis as Oya, the Firebird. Firebird deals with themes of duty, honor, and the sense of mission that every person searches for in a life in their limited time span. It is set in a stylized fantasy environment.
Firebird has gone through initial rehearsals. At this point Firebird requires your financial support so that we can properly put the production up. The production will involve a small live audience immersed within-scene, immersive camera, cut-scenes, and production design enhanced by digital processes. It will be live and live-streamed. It will be interactive for live-stream audience and immersive for attending audience. Recorded & edited versions of Firebird will be available for purchase and download.
Firebird is written specifically for the Virtual Theatrical format. It has already undergone casting, workshop reads and some rehearsals.
