Shadow Dragu-Mihai, Esq., IIPG is an award-winning producer and director with over 30 years of experience in the film and tv industries, and many years as a practicing entertainment attorney.
Shadow Dragu-Mihai is the Executive Director of the International Independent Producers Guild. He consults for independent productions and he provides independent producing and development services. He conducts educational seminars and programs for the various IIPG educational initiatives. Shadow edits and supervises the production of the IIPG's Member's Handbook - the manual of best practices and procedures for producers. He oversees the vetting and editing of IIPG-approved contracts and production forms templates.
Shadow hosts the IIPG Open Forums On Independent Film, and appears on industry panels. He conducts seminars for Women in Entertainment and other organizations.
Shadow's hands-on experience includes cinematographer, special effects and stunt support (doing his practical work out of film school on the The XFiles). Over the years, he has worked in feature film, live theatre, unscripted and other formats, and across genres from action to biography.
Shadow has had the honor of working directly with many greats in film & television including Sally Kirkland, Jacqueline Bisset, Carrie Cain Sparks, Amir Naderi, James Woods, Tommy Schlamme, Matthew Perry, Michael Mann, Robert Beltran, Jackie Chan, Matthew Perry, Diamond Monique Washington and many more. In unscripted, he has worked on major productions including Hell's Kitchen, Gigolos, Restaurant Express, Top Chef Masters, Mystery Diners, Project Runway, Criss Angele Believe (the TV show), Mob Wives, Red Neck Vacation, Real World just to name a few.
